Dr. Jana Williams, Full Bloom PediatricsHearts for Autism, Board Member

    Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Williams received her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina and her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Williams practiced in Houston for 4 years at Piney Point Pediatrics, before moving to Las Cruces in 2001. She and Dr. Settles formed Full Bloom Pediatrics, in 2010.

    She is part of the multi-disciplinary team for children with concerns of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. As a team member, she examines and testifies in court for children with concerns of abuse.

    She is a board member of MASC, the Mariposa Autism Service Center. Through her work with children that have concerns for an autism spectrum disorder, she has developed a knowledge of the variety of needs and supports these children and their families need. As a general pediatrician, she hopes to guide parents in addressing these needs as best as possible.

    Dr. Williams is also involved in community collaboration – Healthy Kids Las Cruces.

    Dr. Williams and her husband, Richard, have three children.
